Why Chiropractic?

I consider myself to be a healthy person and health and wellness has always been a passion of mine. By being a student at Sherman College of Chiropractic and learning more about health, someday I will be able to spread my knowledge from personal experiences as well as the knowledge I acquire at Sherman and long after with my patients and community. It is my belief that everything we need within our lives exists within the natural world and all we have to do is be open to believing it. I want to help as many people as I can realize that happiness, health, and healing can all be grouped together and by keeping our bodies functioning at the optimal level as naturally as possible will lead us all to living our best lives.

We do not need medicine because it is not within the natural world. Although, it is temporarily taking away the problem, it is harming your body in the long run, not healing it. I believe nutrition, exercise, sleep, and chiropractic are the most important aspects of maintaining health. If you are having a health problem, you should look within. You need to be self reflective and think about what you could do better to improve your health. Health problems do not occur without reason, it your body’s call for help and it should not be silenced by medicine because it will later cause further issues.

The reason why I want to be a chiropractor is to enlighten others that everything we need in life exists within the natural world if we are open to utilizing it. Chiropractic is one piece of health. But by utilizing chiropractic you are igniting your nervous system and allowing it to function properly. I want to change people’s perception of the world about putting health, success, opportunity, healing, longevity, and happiness into a positive light. We have the control. I believe the fate of our lives is in our hands. Your perception of the world is your reality. The world is yours if the making. I want to give people this epiphany.
